IMCO (International Maritime College Oman LLC) is a brand new College in the Sultanate of Oman, established on 24 April 2005. IMCO is owned by the Government of Oman (70 per cent) and the STC Group, Rotterdam, the Netherlands (30 per cent).

The following Diploma and Degree courses are offered:

1. Nautical Studies (Deck Officer) - Diploma after 3 years, Bachelor Degree after 4 years;
2. Marine Engineering - Diploma after 3 years, Bachelor Degree after 4 years;
3. Shipping, Port and Transport Management - Diploma after 2 years, Bachelor Degree after 4 years;
4. Operation Technology - Diploma after 2 years, Bachelor Degree after 4 years.

There are four main reasons why IMCO is the institute for your training and education.

1. IMCO is the only education and training institute in the GCC Region that offers Diploma and Degree Courses, and Short Courses for the Maritime, Shipping, Port, Transport Management and Petro-Chemical Process Industries for male and female.

2. IMCO offers attractive training and education using classroom training and modern course material like computer and chemical labs, simulators and even a real process plant!

3. Through close contact with the different industries IMCO is well aware of the labour market and the industry demand.
